These videos of MoMo and Ben don't acurately show MoMo's true personality. He appears shy and quiet here, but he is usually quite active and outgoing!

Moses (Mo Mo) - June 2009
Mo Mo is now the oldest child at the baby center! And he takes his role as big brother seriously!
NOT!!!
Mo Mo doesn't take anything too seriously. Anyone who has ever met him has a smile come to their face when they are asked about Mo Mo! He is such a character! One thing this team noticed is that Mo Mo always walks around with one red flip flop on. And it is always on the same foot! I've seen both flip flops but he prefers to wear one! One day Mo Mo was able to make an escape out of the nursery during bathtime. He went streaking through the play area where the team was working on the fence. He wasn't wearing a thing except...you guessed it: that one red flip flop!!! The caregiver corraled him and took him back in, but I'm sure that's one of those things that will bring a smile to the team members when someone asks them about Mo Mo!

Moses (Mo Mo) - March 2009

Dana Jacobs took these pictures of Mo Mo when she was at the baby center with the NMC work team. Mo Mo continues to be a joy to all who are around him. He is mischevious but he also has a loving heart and a content personality! He is surely one of the baby center's true blessings! (The top photo is Mo Mo with team member Mike Thompson).

Moses - My Story

Baby Moses came to live at the baby center after being picked from a river on the day of his birth! So his name was obvious to all! Soon after coming to the baby center though, Moses developed a severe case of pneumonia and had to be taken to Tenwek Hospital. He was there for a month and came close to death several times. All of the doctors agreed that it was only by God's healing that Moses is still with us today. There is no doubt about his health now. You have only to look at his chubby cheeks and beautiful smile!
